It’s hard to believe the Genesis GV60 EV is already three years old, but there you go, here’s the facelift that’s set to go on sale in South Korea this quarter.
The 2025 Genesis GV60 EV facelift carries a front bumper that’s now a bit more ‘frowny’ than ‘smiley’, but blink and you’ll miss it, really. The wheelarch cladding, front chin, side skirts and rear skid plate are now in body colour for a more ‘urban’ look.
The headlamps, although still depicting the hallmark Two Lines design language, now feature Micro Lens Array tech. The pre-facelift had 10 LEDs per side; now you get 14 per side. New 21-inch alloys, too.
Inside, you still get the Crystal Sphere, which rotates upon startup to reveal a rotary gear selector, but there’s a new 27-inch connected car Integrated Cockpit (ccIC) infotainment system – no more bezel between the instrument panel and infotainment.
New steering wheel too, with three spokes instead of the previous two, and new controls, now black. The wheel boss is no longer circular, and the wheel itself is now slightly D-shaped.
Genesis hasn’t announced technical details yet, but the car should get the same 84 kWh battery as the latest Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. The outgoing GV60 carries a 77.4 kWh battery and you can have either a 229 PS rear motor (514 km WLTP), a 100 PS front motor + 218 PS rear motor (467 km WLTP) or two 244 PS motors (462 km WLTP). Will these carry forward?
