Bosch’s Mobility Aftermarket (MA) division has announced eight new automotive products for the Malaysian market, unveiling these after-market solutions at a product launch late last week.
The range of introductions include the ClearAdvantage TL Wiper, which the company says has been engineered for greater durability and quieter wiping action in all-weather conditions. The wiper also features improved adaptability for use with new Japanese-made vehicle models.
New car batteries were also introduced, including the M42R EFB battery, which has been optimised for use in stop-start vehicles. The 40 Ah battery features a powerful 400 cold cranking amps (CCA) rating and long service durability, having been tested up to 36,000 start-stop cycles.
The range of new C-Line battery chargers have also made their way to Malaysia, with the range-topping C70-B, which succeeds the C7, being the highlight piece. It can charge 12V and 24V lead acid, AGM, GEL, EFB and SLI batteries, and improves on its predecessor by offering a higher maximum charging output of 10A compared to the C7’s 7A. For those looking for something simpler, there’s the C30, which replaces the C3.

Also announced was the EVO range of spark plugs, which is available for a wide range of vehicle models. Touted highlights include a longer service life and optimal performance with the use of iridium pin and platinum plates as well as improved insulation design and nickel coating for enhanced corrosion protection.
The company’s Mega X6 semi-synthetic and Premium X7 fully-synthetic engine oils in various viscosity grades were also highlighted, as were brake-related elements, from the ENV6 high-performance brake fluid to ceramic brake pads engineered for Malaysian-made vehicles and compound brake discs developed for Continental vehicles. The brand’s portfolio of replacement cabin air filter elements was also on show at the event.
“As a brand that has been trusted for well over 100 years for our industry-leading quality and expertise, we are thrilled to unveil these cutting-edge products and provide our customers with the highest quality components and the latest technological advancements,” said Bosch Mobility Aftermarket Malaysia’s country business director, Dillion Goh Kian Chiang.
